
Wayne Noir is a London-based fashion and editorial photographer, a storyteller with an eye for nuance and mood. He holds a degree in Fashion Journalism from the University of the Arts London and has since carved out a multifaceted career behind the lens and in the editing room.
As founder and Editor-in-Chief of the award‑winning independent RION magazine (a reinvention of his surname “Noir,” reversed), Wayne created a leading creative platform dedicated to spotlighting emerging artists across fashion, music, and visual art . His mission is to nurture innovation and to give creative voices often overlooked by mainstream media a global stage, through both print and digital issues, media partnerships, and events tied to London Fashion Week.
Before spearheading RION, Wayne excelled as a fashion photographer, with a discerning aesthetic shaped by editorial narrative. His path deepened when he served as photo editor for a independent magazine a role that catalysed his ambition to launch his own publication, one that offered creative control and editorial integrity .
Wayne is also an aspiring film and documentary maker, drawing on his visual storytelling experience to explore the moving image. His journey into TV and film includes work with BBC Studios, BBC, Netflix, Amazon, C4 to name a few. His behind-the-scenes contributions demonstrating his adaptability across media formats.
